Cultural activities aim to cultivate bonding between members of the Korean community in transmitting beliefs, customs, traditions, and knowledge through art, dance, poetry, music, clothing, gastronomy, theater, and literature.
We offer a few levels of study ranging from beginning Korean to advanced. Intermediate and advanced levels offer conversation courses that provide speaking practice.
The KACCM provides local assistance to Koreans living in Michigan for Korean elections and Korean government programs that they may be eligible for.
Recreational activities provide other forms of creative expression and community such as painting and photography.
We provide opportunities for students to learn and grow through serving the Korean American community.

The KYOM performs at Korean community events as well as visits to senior care facilities to play live music for the elderly.

Woorisori (pronounced “oo-ree-so-ree”) performs samulnori, a genre of percussion music where musicians perform Korean rhythms with traditional instruments in a seated position. They play at many Korean community events.
