Cultural activities aim to cultivate bonding between members of the Korean community in transmitting beliefs, customs, traditions, and knowledge through art, dance, poetry, music, clothing, gastronomy, theater, and literature.​

Korean as Second Language Classes

Korean Language Classes

We offer a few levels of study ranging from beginning Korean to advanced. Intermediate and advanced levels offer conversation courses that provide speaking practice.

The KACCM provides local assistance to Koreans living in Michigan for Korean elections and Korean government programs that they may be eligible for.

Korean American Cultural Coalition (KACC) Student Volunteers Group

The KACC serves the Korean community at cultural center events. They also volunteer at the Michigan Air Show held by Yankee Museum every year.

Korean Youth Orchestra Of Michigan (KYOM)

The KYOM performs at Korean community events as well as visits to senior care facilities to play live music for the elderly.

Woorisori Samulnori Group

Woorisori (pronounced “oo-ree-so-ree”) performs samulnori, a genre of percussion music where musicians perform Korean rhythms with traditional instruments in a seated position. They play at many Korean community events.
