Mission Statement

The Korean American Cultural Center of Michigan (KACCM) fosters diversity and unity by exchanging and sharing Korean culture. The KACCM nurtures pride and embraces wellness to promote an understanding of cultural diversity among communities.

History

KACCM has been successfully served Korean Community and community at large in the greater Detroit area since 1965. A building committee was established within the Korean community in mid-1990s to purchase a home for the community. The results of the community effort, our current center was purchased on March 25, 2002. Since then, KACCM has been provided the Michigan Korean community as well as community at large with a variety of Korean cultural activities, cultural exchange events, health programs, education and counseling services, Korean as second language (KSL), and English as second language (ESL) classes which are designed to enhance understanding of different cultures.

The KACCM is not-for-profit 501c (3) organization and the tax ID number is 38-3534465.
