Why get a health screening?
Getting a health screening is very important because it helps detect potential health issues early and prevent serious problems. For example, high blood pressure is called the “silent killer” because it often has no symptoms but can increase the risk of stroke, kidney failure, congestive heart failure, heart attack, and blindness if left untreated. Additionally, high lipid levels is a major contributor to preventable cardiovascular events and high glucose levels can indicate pre-diabetes or diabetes, which can cause kidney damage, vision loss, nerve damage, and cardiovascular disease. However, by detecting symptoms early, we can significantly reduce the risks of these serious illnesses by treating and managing them early.
We recommend getting health screenings regularly so that you can stay healthy and treat any health issues early on while it is easier to manage and less costly to treat! We want to stay healthy both for ourselves & our families!
